Plan every day, no matter the wind and with a small sail: this is Windsurf Foil. We have the best equipment to learn Windsurf Foil: the Naish Hover board, the Naish Thrust Foil with its 3 mast sizes and the Naish Lift sails in 4.7 and 5.7 square meters. If you already sail Windsurf with a medium-advanced level, you already use harness, footstraps and you know how to plan, you have everything you need to practice Windsurf Foil.
We have thermal wind 90% of the days from noon onwards in Playa de Muro and these conditions are ideal for learning and practicing Foiling. The wind is constant and there are no waves in the Bay of Alcudia. Just a wave of wind or “choppy” that we avoid by going up in the foil and being able to choose the right size of mast for each level, weight and conditions of each student.
You will be able to sail the same as with a normal board, getting on it drifting the sail and tacking the same as with any other 140 liters board, even without planing. The Naish Hover will allow you to start planing with your feet in the footstraps as soon as you point it to the long or cross and pump the sail. The Naish Lift rig is specially designed to be very light but with great power when you start pumping to get the board into the glide. And that’s it; once it starts to planing, you choose when you want to raise the foil by pushing with your back foot to get the board up.
Even without a harness, you will experience the incredible sensation of flying above the water, without the vibration of the board splashing against the water, and you will find yourself sailing in a silence broken only by the air passing by your face and the sail itself. With a more forward body weight position than normal, you will be able to control the foil and make longer and longer tacks. You will start to hook into the harness and that’s it: you’re Windsurfing Foil!
