The wind is blowing, the Catamaran goes faster, you steer with the rudder… Smile!
Guided by our professional instructors and with a maximum of 2 students in every Catamaran, you will learn how to mount and disassemble the boat, all the maneuvers and turns in order to sail with independence and security. You will be able to practice capsizing, getting back to the sailing position and man overboard maneuvers. Moreover, students will acquire knowledge about the equipment and weather conditions and learn how to sail in a responsible and exciting way.
The thermal winds in Playa de Muro and Alcúdia’s Bay assure us the privilege of offering catamaran courses in Mallorca for all levels.
In the beginner’s course, we will make sure that you learn to sail with a confidence that will qualify you to be ready to rent the boat by yourself, with a wind intensity of up to force 3. And if you wish, we will accredit your learning by obtaining your international license VDWS that allows you to rent Catamarans anywhere in the world!
In classes that last up to 2h with your instructor, you will experience speed so you can control one of these light boats. You will be able to arrive at any point in Alcúdia’s Bay that you wish, using only the wind as a propeller. The group classes will allow you to practice as a helmsperson when you control by yourself boarding or forward man, taking care of the stability of the boat with your weight and working constantly with type jib sailor, forming a team with your crew member and even managing to realize exits of different Catamarans simultaneously in the same class.
On having booked your course, you can specify the language you wish, so you can learn and familiarize yourself with the nautical nomenclature used during the whole course.
